Hi All, I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day and a great Monday. We had a nice and relaxing weekend (well except for my trip to Urgent Care to have my wedding rings cut off my swollen finger, other than that it was nice) and a very enjoyable Mother's Day. Hi Everyone, I was playing around with the Tape It stamp set . I had it on my desk to use with my Project Life layout from Monday but ended up not using it and was inspired to make a card. That stamp set, with 3 different ink colors, and the Itty Bitty Banners stamp and die set makes for a cute and simple card. These metal buttons from the occasions catalog are one of my favorite embellishments in my collection. They work great for simple cards with pastel colors to more masculine cards with darker richer colors. Today I want to share a video on how I put together one side of a 2 page layout of Ethan's 12th birthday. I used to do Project Life on a weekly basis, but now I only do it on special occasions. It's so much easier and I can keep up with it better if I'm not weeks and weeks behind. I have about two more special events to do and then I'll be caught up to April. Mostly, I stick to a one page layout for each event and, if I have a lot of pictures, I'll either add an insert or, if the timing is right in the album, I'll do a two page spread.
